"I started off with the garlic naan. It was delicious. We ordered the sag paneer, chicken tikka masala and seekh kebab. All were great. The seekh kebab was minced chicken. It was spicy. The service was great and friendly. Great place for Indian food."

"Reasonably priced and delicious authentic Indian food. I drove 40 minutes both way and my party and I enjoyed various appetizers (the gobi was a hit) and main dishes such as butter chicken, biriyani, lamb chops were extremely tender and the cream cheese stuffed naan was also a big hit. Everything was so good I made sure to order extra to take home. The servers were very friendly and attentive, which added to the ease of dining with a large group. Definitely would come here to eat solo or as a family style meal."

"Came to the restaurant for the first time with my family. The food is absolutely delicious!! Service was really good and the waiter was really nice. It’s a nice place and there is plenty of parking in the lot. They have a space that can even accommodate large parties. The malai naan is out of this world! Definitely ask for a few of these!! Lassoni gobhi, paneer, malai kofta, and dal maakhani were also delicious! Highly recommend!!!"

"Superb Indian food! I am traveling from out of town and missed my local restaurant at home. A Nest absolutely hit the spot. Their staff was courteous and professional, the food was delicious, and they had a great variety of items. Definitely try the samosa chaat. Will definitely come back on my next visit into town!"

"Great place - authentic food. They dialed back the spicy a little bit for my wife; but if you go there and tell them you like spicy, I'm sure it can get a load hotter. Was really surprised at the quality of all three dishes we got. That's chicken, lentils and cheese (no, I'm not going to attempt to spell their names) and then the traditional "sweet cheese ball" for desert (I think it's made with rose water). Rice was perfectly cooked (I get cranky if the rice is mushy). Service was attentive and helpful. I think the place is new - hit it up while you can - we were able to walk in and get seated right away (like 8pm). That won't last long. Food is excellent and prices are reasonable. Once word gets out there will be crowds. Our biggest hit of the night -shrimp appetizer. It was $11 and had four shrimp, but the sauce was extremely good. It was a real surprise - not something we had had before. If you try nothing else on the appetizer list, try this. Like many Indian food places, loads of vegetarian options."

"Went for dinner over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised at this new spot. Admittedly it doesn't "look" like an Indian restaurant from the outside but the meal was phenomenal and surprisingly busy (for a new restaurant). Everything we ordered tasted great, the portions were reasonable, and the menu had a lot of options. The service was also really good (they refilled the drinks frequently which is a big plus for me), the food came out fast, and the staff even brought us more sauce when we mentioned how good it was. The prices were very reasonable especially for Syosset. No complaints at all and I'm sure they'll get even better after they've been open for a while."

"First time trying. Dined in. Tried a few dishes we never had before and loved everything. A stand out was the sarson ka saag. Also loved the dal makhani and lacha paratha. Service was great."

"So tonight we decided to try the new Indian restaurant in Plainview, A Nest. I will start by saying that the wait staff and service were perfect. We explained our spice preference, which is a little bit on the spicier side and they delivered perfect spiced dishes. We started with the vegetable samosas, which had a slightly different flavor than what we usually get, a better flavor. So good. We also started with the Baghari shrimp. The sauce was so flavorful that I wanted to drink it like a soup. The chicken vindaloo was flavorful and perfectly spicy. The lamb Rogan Josh was as tasty as can be and also perfectly tasty. The mixed bread basket (naan) was excellent. For dessert, I was skeptical. We ordered one carrot halwah, ( it’s carrots). We ordered one to share. It was the the best dessert I have ever had in an Indian restaurant and would be on a great dessert list anywhere. I would eat a vat of it. Waiter said that they eat it for breakfast. Everything was perfect. If you are from the area and believe you should support local, try them out. If you like Indian food you will come back."
